Students will start their learning of Law with the essentials of the English legal system; they will visit courts and have talks from legal professionals to ensure that they understand how the law of the land is created and applied.
Having mastered the building blocks of the subject they will be taught elements of substantive law across both the civil and criminal systems which will include topics such as murder, burglary and negligence.
Finally they will consider the human rights of people who live in the UK and question whether the legal system supports or restricts those rights.
Having developed an enquiring and critical mind throughout the duration of the course they will consider the challenging concept of morality and justice.
