Sixth Form Bridging 2026

We are delighted to welcome both our current Year 11 students and external applicants to our Sixth Form Bridging Experience on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th July 2026.

Our exciting two-day programme has been carefully designed to help students make a confident and successful transition into Sixth Form. It is the first step in their journey to become young adults, equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to achieve their ambitions.

Throughout the Bridging Experience, students will attend lessons in their chosen subjects, meet their teaching staff, gain a deeper understanding of course expectations, and receive preparatory work to help them get off to the very best start in September.

As well as experiencing Sixth Form lessons, students will have the opportunity to make new friends and become part of our vibrant Sixth Form community. During Period 5 on the first day, students will take part in a fun and engaging team-building challenge in the Main Hall, developing teamwork, communication and leadership skills while building new connections.

The programme begins with a welcome breakfast and introductory assembly, where students will receive their personalised timetables before embarking on their Sixth Form experience. We will conclude the event on the second day with a celebratory buffet lunch, where we will also recognise and reward the team with the winning presentation from the team-building challenge.

We are looking forward to welcoming our newest Sixth Form students and supporting them as they begin the next exciting chapter of their education.
