This year's Sixth Form Open Evening was held on Wednesday 18th October 2023. If you would like to visit our Sixth Form during the school day, please contact Mrs Ramdin on the details below.

We still have places available and we are warmly welcome applications from students wishing to join our Sixth Form in September 2024.

A large proportion of our Year 11 students continue their studies in our Sixth Form, however, we also welcome applications from students in Year 11 in other schools across Essex and Southend. 

All Year 11 students at KES will be invited into KES with their parents to provide them with the opportunity to discuss their KS5 options in more detail with key members of staff.

Students currently at other schools, are able to attend our Externals Open Day in March 2024. This event is a fantastic opportunity for students to spend the day with us, experiencing a typical Sixth Form lesson in the subject areas they are interested in studying and also meeting current students and the Sixth Form Team.

We fully appreciate that looking ahead to post 16 education can be daunting, especially if you are joining a new school, but we are here to ensure we support your transition, with events in school specifically designed to ensure you have made the right course decision as well as making friends before September.
