Jack Petchey Regional Final

Year 10 students Chloe Bartlett and Pollyanna Bradley represented KES at the annual Speakout Challenge.

On May 9 the two girls attended the Jack Petchey Speakout Regional Final to compete with students from other local schools.

Although they were not winners this year, they were commended for their speeches and described by one of the event organisers as original and powerful speakers.

Pollyanna's speech was entitled, 'The right to be loved' and Chloe's, 'The impact of the media' and we congratulate them both for having the confidence to engage with public speaking and to express themselves in such a successful way.
