Anti-Gang Workshop

A powerful play performed to Year 9 and 10 students, outlined the dangers of becoming a member of a gang.

Performed by N-Act, the play gave strong messages of how young people can choose different paths and change the outcomes of their lives.

Using facts and statistics from Southend Police and the London Safeguarding Children Board, along with ideas and thoughts from young people in schools, the play is set in a courtroom with the audience as the jury. Via forum theatre and a chance to ask the characters questions, the students were asked to determine how choices could have been made differently.
